Muons part-1
These are some very most widely available and fundamental particles of the Universe having very Strange Behavior.
These are like heavier electrons that are just 206.77 times heavier than electron mass but having the same charge as electron even the charge nature is also the same.
These particles have a very short half-life of just 2.2 us (0.0000022 sec) so they are very easy to decay and follow an equation and a very hard to store.
These particles are made by cosmic rays after colliding with outer layer of earth but can't be used due to short life.
In a particle accelerator, the electrons are accelerated with the help of a magnetic field and collide with particles like Li, Ce to form a collision.
These (pie)negative are produced by 20% of times and has a very small half-life of just (0.00000066 sec) and only (pie positive ) make muons.
These are very useful in many application and will be explained in the next part/Blog.
Some reference material that will help you for future research and will help me to provide you with great content.
Introductory Muon Science International
Introductory Muon Science for India
The above two books are only for very deep research and knowledge base and are slightly on the expensive side.
