Muons Part-2

As being discussed in the last blog some brief history and brief analysis about the muons and how they are made and some of the special characteristics and one of there major use cases were also been discussed (you can check out Last Part ).

Lets us see one of the few production and uses that it is used and have made these particles and use them in real life.

Particle Collider

This is one of the most import research and one of the biggest projects in whole humankind and this has also made us to produce even Muons be possible to produce.

As the property of muons are more like electrons but are much much heavier and while having a negative charge are there so can very easily collide with other particles and with the availability of much more mass there is very loss of energy and so make it more efficient.

Time Dilation

As been discussed in the past about this even the time plays a very important role in making and have a huge characteristics property that will be discussed below.

Muons are formed when cosmic rays collide but for matter of fact they have half-life of few microsecond that is likely not enough to travel a long distance like earth complete radius of more than 66 km even at the speed of light that is very high but for a surprise, it is always being detected by earth in a large number.

These events can only be possible when time dilation is there occur as they travel nearly 99.5% the speed of light that make their time to slow down a bit to run as slow as 10 times the actual time that make them easy travel the earth atmosphere and so be detected easily.
