Time dilation is a very good explanation of making two of the greatest theories of mankind that is by newton that speed is always relative in nature and other by Maxwell that is no object can exceed speed of light this makes up a very good dilemma in itself that how can object not be more than speed of light as when the speed of light we see while we move at .8 speed of light then we see other light moving at speed of 1.8 speed of light but in reality it only be done the speed of light at max it is all due to one of the most famous equation that is relativity ie E=MC^2.
You may think how can 1+.8=1 then you have to know that when we are making the speed calculation it is not just a pure calculation of sum but even much different.
As According to relativity the time that the object faces when moving at very high speed means very near to the speed of light it faces the slow of time that means its time slows down as he move faster by (equation given in the image)
As by the above equation, we can see that as we move faster the time slows down and ta speed of light the time flow just stops that how the time work it doesn't means that when you at high-speed time stops it is just that the time just slows down by a bit that means that if you move at .8 times the speed of light then a year you spend doing so will be equals to 3-4 years the actual time that human faces (the calculation is just an example and not the real calculation and may be incorrect it is just for understanding only)
If we can even time dilation be happened with just change the gravity be there and their changes happen.
There is also a very good case as we know every planet and celestial body has its own gravity that also make a case if time dilation that is if we are on earth then time move faster then we are on moon as the gravity also make changes in terms of acceleration that make slow ups the time just only because of gravity that make a very special case in near the proximity of a black hole (that is very shortly be reviewed )
